We partner exclusively with Lifeline Ministries to meet the social needs of those in our community. Lifeline provides food, clothing, furniture, and household items through their ministry center located at 4115 Dixie Highway in Elsmere, just down the road from our home at Dixie Heights High School.
All Home Teams at Watermark serve one evening a month in Lifeline's ministry center. In addition, we have a monthly food drive (the last Sunday of the month) to stock their pantry. However, volunteers are needed throughout the week to serve in the center, make pick-ups, and deliveries, and meet with clients. If you would like to volunteer, please call 859-727-3733.
For more information, check out the Lifeline website at www.lifelineofnky.org.
At Watermark, from day one, we have been passionate about serving not only beyond the wall of the church in our community, but globally as well. In 2007, we entered into an amazing partnership with Casa de Faith in Guadalajara, Mexico. They are a young church plant with a vision very similar to ours with a great passion to reach the unchurched and disconnected in their community. Casa de Faith also is engaged in amazing homeless ministry, jail ministry, and outreach to other churches. Casa de Faith is led by Pastor Marcelo Reyes and an incredible team of committed lay people and servant leaders. We focus a generous portion of our missions giving to their work and also currently send a mission team there each November to serve, encourage, and further their tremendous ministry. We hope to increase the frequency and number of those mission journeys in the future. Watermark would love to have you join us on an upcoming trip to Guadalajara.
